Amazon.com customer service telephone number

If you are an Amazon user, you may need to contact someone from time to time. Unfortunately, on most of the “Contact Us” links, you will not find the telephone number for Amazon Customer Service. Instead, you get a little form to fill out with your question. You can fill that out, but you do not know when (if ever) you will get a reply. I’m not sure who all might be looking for this number, but here it is just in case:

1-866-216-1072 in US toll free

1-206-266-2992, US or international.

Obviously, Amazon doesn’t want to take phone calls, else they wouldn’t make it so hard to find their number.

Although the Hudson River area where West Point is located has experienced high temperatures along with most of the country, officials there have not said for sure whether the death was attributable to the heat.

The Big Picture – Duty, Honor, Country

According to Associated Press reports, Cadet Jacob Bower, an 18-year-old, was on a navigation exercise when he was found unresponsive. Attempts to revive the Fairmont, W.Va. cadet were unsuccessful and he apparently was declared dead on the scene.

Media interviews with New Cadet Bower’s father indicated that Bower was in outstanding physical condition, played three sports and aspired to be a doctor and a US Army officer. He graduated from his high school as valedictorian and was deemed to be in good standing with his class, although technically, the class of 2015 will not become part of the cadet corps until Acceptance Day later this summer.

Applicants to the United States Military Academy at West Point go through a rigorous screening process and must exhibit excellence in academics, athletics, leadership and community service before being considered for admission. Pima County GOP Chairman Brian Miller may lose job over Jose Guerena comment

A fight is brewing over the leadership of the Pima County GOP. The party has already stripped Chairman Brian Miller ofJose Guerena murder followed by Brian Miller character assasination most of his authority, the party meets tonight to consider new rules that will allow them to altogether terminate his leadership.

Brotherhood of Corruption: A Cop Breaks the Silence on Police Abuse, Brutality, and Racial Profiling (See all Law Enforcement Books)

The Jose Guerena murder

At the heart of the Brian Miller controversy is his public statements aligning himself against the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the County Attorney who have collaborated amongst themselves to exonerate SWAT team members who pumped the innocent Guerena full of lead and then denied him medical care as they watched him die. All that while his wife and youngest child hid in a closet.

“Allegations” are not facts, Loretta

Loretta Hunnicutt wrote at the Tucson Citizentoday, condemning Miller for fighting the injustice perpetrated upon him by the Pima County GOP. She couldn’t help but mention the alleged drug involvment of Jose Guerena, as she attempted to impune the dead Marine and his supporters in the community.

While she mentioned the supposed allegation of Guerena’s drug connections, she failed to mention that all evidence obtained at the scene of his murder showed that he was an innocent man, victimized by militarized police, a disturbing national trend.

As in most GOP circles, Hunnicutt advocates an unquestioning loyal stance toward police, refusing to consider the fact that a number of murderers on the police force have gotten off scot free.

Miller right to fight

Brian Miller’s fight against the McCain-like Pima GOP is refreshing. Someone should take a stand, and it should be the GOP because the GOP supposedly stands for what’s right. Unfortunately, Hunnicutt and other GOP RINOs think that the answer is to support the corrupt Democrat establishment’s coverup of murder.

To RINOs, backing down from a fight seems expedient, but as McCain and his ilk proved, supporting Democrat abuses is a sure path to defeat.

Erik Scott Costco vigil recalls West Point grad’s execution by police

A Sunday vigil commemorated the shooting of West Point graduate Erik Scott outside a Summerlin, Nevada Costco. West Point graduate Erik Scott was murdered by police one year agoFriends, family members and supporters from the community gathered in solemn remembrance of a man who was murdered by rogue police.

Brotherhood of Corruption: A Cop Breaks the Silence on Police Abuse, Brutality, and Racial Profiling (See all Law Enforcement Books)

For its part, Costco was implicated in the abuse because its own rogue security officer began the ordeal by making a groundless call to 9-1-1. Also, the security video of the even “mysteriously” went missing after the fact, making it impossible to tell with certainty what transpired that day.

The girlfriend

Scott’s girlfriend who was shopping with him at the time of his murder testified early on about the police abuses of that day. However, she failed to testify at the sham inquest that exonerated the three murderers and has been laying low ever since. Comments left at the Las Vegas Sun seem to suspect that she did not wish to perjure herself by attesting to her initial version of events while under oath.

Police subversion campaign

In the days after the shooting, news reports documented a plethora of eyewitnesses who contradicted the police version of events. Amazingly, the bulk of those witnesses vanished into the woodwork in time for the inquest, a remarkable coincidence.

Not all in vain

Erik Scott’s family point out that his death was not entirely in vain. For example, the inquest procedure in Clark County has been modified under pressure from the public. However, the murderous police union now contests the changes to the inquest procedure, presumably because it exposes them to increased accountability.

Additionally, civil action against the murderers and other parties to Scott’s death continues to weave its way through the couurts.

UPDATE Criminal charges filed in West Point Cadet Richard King Patti LaBelle case

UPDATE (8/18/11): West Point Cadet Richard King reinstated to USMA by Department of the Army.
—–
Two Patti LaBelle associates face criminal assault charges stemming from an altercation that cost West Point Cadet LaBelle bodyguard, hairdresser charged in Richard King beatingRichard King his career as a military officer.

Police charge LaBelle entourage with beating

Formerly considered a victim in the case, Patti LaBelle’s son Zuri Edwards faces charges as the one who started the violent incident that left King severely injured. After Edwards initiated contact with King, bodyguard Efrem Holmes began beating King and then hairdresser Norma Harris pushed King into a concrete pole, causing further injury.

Investigators filed charges after re-opening their investigation in light of video evidence that showed King as a victim, rather than a perpetrator in the ordeal.

The incident occurred as Rich King talked on his cell phone while waiting for a ride home from the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

King vindicated, but still down and out

News of the criminal charges filed against LaBelle’s staffers vindicates King who was booted from the United States Military Academy at West Point after an airport employee reported the incident to administrators there.

West Point says that King was booted after a thorough review of his career as an Army cadet, so little hope exists that the man will be re-instated now that he is clearly innocent.

Civil suit butressed

Clearly, the news that authorities charged LaBelle associates with crimes in the case , the civil suit lodged by King against LaBelle has new underpinnings that add strength to indisputable video evidence that supports his claim against them.

Arrest me, if you can

Although warrants for Holmes and Harris now call for their arrest, ABC Local reports that the two reportedly reside out of state. So far, they have not indicated a willingness to answer the charges against them.

Rogue officers scrutinized

A third case connected with the Richard King beating concerns a pair of Houston Police Department officers who posed with Patti LaBelle next to a pool of King’s blood. Internal police investigators want to know whether LaBelle’s celebrity influenced the way the officers investigated the incident.

Family to mark 1 year anniversary of West Point graduate Erik Scott murder

One year ago, West Point graduate Erik Scott was gunned down by police outside a Summerlin Costco. Family members plan Costco shooting of Erik Scott was murder. Case Closedto commemorate the tragedy on July 10, according to Fox 5.

Murder Behind the Badge: True Stories of Cops Who Kill (See all True Crime Books)

Rogue police protected by corrupt government

Before the shooting an out-of-control Costco security employees phoned in a false report to Las Vegas Metro Police who responded by ordering the store evacuated. As Erik Scott left the store, at least three police shot the man in cold blood.

A fraudulent inquest exculpated area law enforcement of responsibility for their actions, but the family of Erik Scott continues civil actions in effort to bring some sort of justice to this shocking case of police brutality and conspiracy.

A vague semblance of partial justice

Meanwhile, karma appears to have come around to bite one of the murderer-policeman involved in killing Erik Scott. That officer, Thomas Mendiola helped kill the innocent West Point graduate, but now is under indictment for giving a firearm to a convicted felon.

Fox 5 reports that the indictment handed down will likely bring Mendiola into court later this month.

According to 8 News Now, the recipient of the gun, Robert Justice, was Mendiola’s mechanic who got busted in possession of it when he tried to sell it to undercover police officers. Justice was convicted of a felony in another state, but government witnesses suggest that Mendiola was well-aware of his tainted past when he gave Justice the weapon.

Justice was involved in another police-related incident when he conspired with a Metro Police officer, William Web, to kill the officer’s girlfriend.

Honors for murderers

Since the Erik Scott shooting, the other two officers who helped murder the innocent West Point grad were honored at the National Association of Police Officers TOP COPS Awards event. CBS Local said that Officers William Mosher and Joshua Stark were given kudos, apparently in relation to their role in the Scott murder at a Las Vegas area Costco.

Latest victim of Guerena raid: Pima GOP chair Brian Miller

Months after the Pima County Sheriffs office coordinated a murderous raid against Marine veteran Jose Guerena, the Pima County Republican Committee hasJose Guerena murder takes another victim acted against its chairman, Brian Miller.

Police Unbound: Corruption, Abuse, and Heroism by the Boys in Blue

Brian Miller, hero

Miller had spoken out against the injustice perpetrated by Pima County authorities, but the Pima GOP seems comfortable with having innocent people slaughtered inside their own homes without any cause or justification. In fact, the horrific turn of events suggest a great opportunity for the GOP to make inroads against Sherif Dipstick Dupnk, the County Attorney, and the rest of the Democrat-infested county government. A la John McCain, however, the Pima County GOP does not want to appear confrontational against the murder of an innocent man.

Brian Miller, victim

GOP Chairman Miller went from hero status for speaking out for the victim and his family to victim status in record time. While not removing him from office, the sissies in the Pima County GOP decided to rescind all of Miller’s authority as the chairperson, even demanding his office keys back. The Tucson Citizen published a copy of the GOP action.

Treacherous words?

The following are some of the treacherous words Miller spoke:

It is the fundamental foundation of our country that every citizen has the right to question the policies and conduct of our government and law enforcement agencies. Strong civilian oversight is essential to maintaining citizens’ trust in our police departments—and therefore to the ability of those agencies to conduct law enforcement activities both peacefully and successfully.

Pima county wrong

The fact that a corrupt county Attorney and Sheriff conspired to exonerate a rogue team of police officers of the murder it committed does not mean that its action was justified. murder is murder, even when the government commits it.

The Pima County Republican Committee is wrong too. Rather than joining Miller in his stand against injustice, the GOP chose to dip their hands in the blood of Jose Guerena by taking a politically correct approach to accommodate the liberals and the communists who think that the government can act with impunity in all of its affairs.

Shame on Pima County on all counts.

Not resigning

In the midst of an apparent attempt to force him out as chairman, Miller says that he won’t go. According to the Tucson Sentinel, Miller believes that he’s the victim of a political witch hunt. He now seeks support from the party’s rank and file.

The county chair sent out an official GOP email in May titled “We are all Jose Guerena,” writing “It is my hope that this tragic event will lead to a renewed discussion of the policies that routinely lead to heavily armed and militarized local police invading private homes and a renewed interest in the civil liberties codified in our Bill of Rights.”
